Guest Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Yumly ordering platform operated by Velour Logic ApS a company incorporated in Denmark under company number 39249820 (“Company”, “we”, “us”). By accessing or using our service to place an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Use of the Platform

1.1. The Platform allows you (“Guest”, “you”) to browse, order, and pay for goods (such as food or beverages) from participating merchants (“Merchants”).
1.2. You must be at least 18 years old or the legal age of majority in your location to place orders involving alcohol or other restricted items.

2. Ordering and Payments

2.1. Orders placed through the Platform are direct transactions between you and the Merchant. The Company acts only as a technology provider.
2.2. All prices are set by the Merchant. The Company does not guarantee the accuracy, quality, or availability of any menu item.
2.3. Payments are securely processed via Stripe. By placing an order, you authorize the total payment amount (including applicable taxes and fees) to be charged to your selected payment method.
2.4. You are responsible for reviewing your order before confirming payment.

3. Service Fee

3.1. A service fee is added to your order at checkout. This fee is charged by the Company and is displayed before you complete payment.
3.2. This fee helps cover the costs of operating and maintaining the Platform. It is non-refundable, even in the case of a full order refund.

4. Refunds and Disputes

4.1. Any questions, complaints, or refund requests related to your order (e.g., missing items, incorrect food, non-delivery) must be directed to the Merchant.
4.2. Refunds, when issued, are processed by the Merchant via Stripe. The Company does not handle refunds and is not responsible for order fulfillment or customer service.
4.3. Chargebacks initiated through your payment provider may be contested by the Merchant.

5. Use Restrictions

5.1. You agree not to misuse the Platform, interfere with its operation, or access it in an unauthorized manner.
5.2. Any fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity may result in suspension of your access and/or legal action.

6. Data and Privacy

6.1. By using the Platform, you consent to the Company collecting and processing your personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
6.2. Payment data is handled by Stripe. The Company does not store your full payment card details.
6.3. Your order data may be shared with the Merchant for the purpose of fulfilling your order.

7. Availability & Liability

7.1. The Platform is provided “as is” without any warranty. We do not guarantee availability, accuracy, or performance.
7.2. To the maximum extent allowed by law, the Company is not liable for:

  • Delays or failures in order fulfillment

  • Incorrect or unavailable menu items

  • Payment or technical errors

  • Losses or damages arising from the use of the Platform

8. Changes to These Terms

8.1. The Company may update these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted on the Platform.
8.2. Continued use of the Platform after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark. Any disputes shall be resolved by the courts of Denmark.
